In addition to our core services of accounting and tax compliance, Jacoby Cameron & Co offers a number of other services that are increasingly important to the firm. These services include:

• Financial Planning;
• Management Accounting and
• Audit and Assurance.

Some firms will place junior staff into specialist areas immediately, depriving them of a broad based accounting experience. At Jacoby Cameron & Co we encourage all staff, especially our juniors to be involved in as many facets as possible of these services. We believe that this approach provides solid practical experience in most aspects of accounting, which will be highly beneficial to those studying or contemplating their CA qualifications. After this experience staff may later decide to specialize in one of these fields. 

Training

At Jacoby Cameron and Co we strive to provide our clients services with a high level of technical excellence. To achieve this goal, the firm is committed to an ongoing staff training program. Regular sessions are held every month where either Jacoby Cameron & Co staff members or other presenters prepare items on topical issues. The firm also sends staff to attend various appropriate training sessions prepared by other organizations. Jacoby Cameron and Co also has an extensive library of accounting and taxation based material.

A high proportion of Jacoby Cameron & Co staff are qualified accountants. They are able to provide a high standard of on the job training and coaching for junior staff.

Our firm is committed to provide high levels of assistance for CA candidates. We provide support in the form of fee reimbursement as well as organised workshop sessions where there are a sufficient number of candidates for the module. Study leave is provided for module examinations.

Client Contact

At Jacoby Cameron and Co we pride ourselves on the level of our client service. We ensure that each client has at least two staff members who they can deal with in the office. It is important that clients come to know and respect the staff members actually performing the work. For this reason we promote client contact by all staff, where the appropriate level of technical competency has been achieved.
